Hi all! I've finally taken the plunge into clogs after wanting to for many years. Both are slip on open back styles. I have Danskos and now a pair of wooden base soles with brown leather uppers which are amazing!! I realize that clogs are considered feminine footwear, but don't mind. I'm average height and weight. Would love to know your thoughts ladies! Thanks much!! And it's ok if you are a nay..;)

Not uncommon in my worlds - which are the cooking (baking) and hipster worlds... but I should mention, even tho I see it, open back clogs aren’t really supposed to be worn in a commercial kitchen. And to my knowledge, clogs are traditionally unisex.

In the 70's it was my brother who introduced me to clogs. Then it was very in for guys, don't know about now, but why not? (rhetorical question :)) Guys did wear more flared jeans then too so it kind of matched.

I saw a gentleman wearing clogs at a vaccination site this week. He looked quite distinguished and comfortable

Go for it! Dutch men frequently wear clogs. It's part of the culture - much like Birkenstocks with socks. Can look great to my eye.

Guys wear Crocs, and clogs are pretty much in the same family, right? So get to steppin' in those clogs!

My 1st and 2nd choices for clogs both had large selections of clogs for men. If they are comfortable for you, than i say wear them and enjoy them!

Birkenstock Bostons are clogs and very popular with men. But low soled low heeled clogs are truly unisex footwear, regardless of brand.

I don't think clogs are particularly feminine....but also, there's no reason why a male can't wear something feminine. Enjoy!

Omg!!..thank you ALL so much for the wonderful comments and inspiration!! I will be going for it! (Angie) cloggin' on (Murph11) and gettin' to steppin' in my clogs (Xtabay). I do consider them feminine since there are no other guys that really wear them and my wife calls them my "girl shoes", but right on chewy we CAN wear feminine items!! The profile pic are my new clogs from Chameleon Clogs on etsy, custom made for me and are wonderfully comfortable and gorgeous I might add (wow, did I just say that?). Feel free to ask me about my experience with Rebiah the owner. Time to grow the collection, would like to get some Svens next. I'll happily be in this group of wonderful ladies who enjoy clogs as much as I do and seem to bring out a different side of me. A happy clogger I am!

I am the Clog Queen, having (sh-h-h) nine pairs of clogs. For the most part, the only clogs I consider femme are my flowered ones and my red ones plus my perforated blue ones shown in brown here. To my eye, brown clogs can skew masculine, particularly on a larger foot, in the same way that Birkenstock Arizonas can. Nothing wrong with that for any gender. Maybe we can call clogs androgynous?

Donna, I like the idea!..9 pairs, good for you!! They def can be androg. It honestly doesn't bother me hearing that they might not be considered masculine. I'm just glad to have found like minded clog fans and certainly enjoy seeing others chat about them. Those above are are nice, I'm def an open back style fan and love the wood bases. Searching for my next pair and open to suggestions. Thanks for your thoughts!!
